he had to deal with was Dungey,

Malcolm In The House
Malcolm Stewart, younger brother of James
Stewart, made an encouraging showing in his
pro Supercross debut, setting the 11th-quickest
time in qualifying and finishing second in his heat
race behind eventual winner Justin Barcia. The
ARMA/Suzuki City rider was quick off the line at
the start of the Lites final, but tangled with P.J.
Larsen on the first lap and went down.

When asked if he felt pressure being in his older brother’s shadow, Malcolm
replied: “No, it’s no pressure at all having James as a brother. I just want to do my
thing and do good... try to get out of his shadow.”

last few laps. At one point, Dungey passed Canard for the lead,
but Canard got it right back in the
following turn. On the last lap,
with the crowd on its feet, Canard prepared for one final attack
by Dungey and was able to hold
him off to take the thrilling win by
less than a second.
“I’m excited,” the Team Honda
rider said. “Honestly, I’m at a little
bit of disbelief.”
Despite finishing second to
Canard, Dungey was pleased,
